Virginia Meissner
Fast Facts: Easy, 3.3 miles, 395 ft elevation gain Details: Gently trek through the trees in the Virginia Meissner Park in the Deschutes National Forest. Generally considered a snow park for cross country skiing, the ara comes alive in the summer.
Pictograph Cave Trail
Fast Facts: Easy, 6.4 miles, 147 ft elevation gain Details: Trek through the high desert along the Pictograph Cave Trail. Generally considered an easy route, the cave is a great way to intrigue kids, or take a leasurely stroll through this unique landscape.
Tumalo Falls Loop
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Moderate Difficulty, 6.4 miles Details: Tumalo Falls is one of the most iconic hikes in the Bend area, renound for it's stunning, straight falling water. It's open year-round but best enjoyed in spring - fall. As you hike through the forest, there are a number of gorgeous waterfalls along the way to Tumalo. Pups must be on leash while on the trail.
Paulina Peak
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Somewhat Challenging, 6.2 miles Details: Paulina Peak Trail is located near La Pine, Oregon and is an out-and-back trail. From the peak you will see stunning views of Paulina Lake and the edge of the Newberry National Monument lava flow. If you want to spend the day there after there are paddle board and boat rentals as well as camping accomodations for you and yours to have fun in the sun! Pups must be on leash while on the trail.
Smith Rock Summit via Misery Ridge
Fast Facts: Dog Freindly, Moderate Difficulty, 6.2 miles Details: This is a popular hike in Smith Rock State Park that allows you to see the bredth of the park from the peak. It is bext explored from March to October. Dogs must be on leash while on the trail.
Canyon Creek Meadows Loop
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Moderate Difficulty, 7.4 miles Details: Discover the pronounced spires of Three Fingered Jack as you hike through the Jefferson Wilderness. You will trek along Canyon Creek through flower filled high alpine meadows, uncover a glacial pool, and Cirque Lake. You will also encounter stunning views of the Three Sisters, Mount Jefferson and Mount Washington. Dogs must be on leash while on the trail. Sadly, many trees were burned during a 2003 fire, but the meadows were spared and it remains a gorgeous hike with stunning views!

Grey Butte via Burma Road
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Challenging, 12.7 miles The Details: This is a 12.7 mile out-and-back hike in Smith Rock State Park near Terrabon. It's best explored from March through November and is great if you're into birding and not seeing a whole lot of poeple on your trek. Pups must be on leash while on the trail.
Diamond Peak via Pacific Crest Trail
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Somewhat Challenging, 14.4 miles Details: Located near Crescent, Oregon, Diamond Peak is an out-and-back trail that is moderately dificult until you begin the push to the summit. Locals say that confident and competent hikers should be fine along this trail.
Black Butte Trail
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Challenging, 10.10 miles The Details: Locals know Black Butte Trail to be an infimously challenging route with great rewards. Located near Camp Sherman, Oregon, it's a great way to challenge yourself if you've been hiking for a few seasons.
Peter Skene Ogden Trail
Fast Facts: Dog Friendly, Challenging, 16.8 miles The Details: This 16.8-mile out-and-back trail near La Pine, Oregon is great for bird enthusiasts. You will encounter waterfalls as you navigate your way through the trees.
